Full job description

A world-leading, Fortune 500 global telecommunications operator European Headquarters is currently seeking a dedicated and professional Procurement Manager to join the team and drive our growth in the European market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers across the UK and Europe. Maintain and manage relationships with existing vendors, conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Procurement Execution: Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT equipment, telecom network hardware, data center services, and general corporate services.
  • Cost Control & Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations, develop and implement procurement strategies, and effectively optimize procurement costs (both CAPEX and OPEX) without compromising quality.
  • Contract & Compliance Management: Draft, review, and negotiate procurement contracts. Identify and mitigate commercial risks while ensuring full compliance with UK and European laws and company policies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal project, technical, and finance teams (including liaising with the APAC headquarters) to ensure timely delivery of goods and services that meet business requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain management. Experience within the Telecommunications, IT, or Tech industries is highly advantageous.
  • Language Skills: Excellent bilingual communication and writing skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Strong negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and analytical thinking, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must hold the right to work in the UK.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
