Role

The Junior Associate Chiropractor role is a contract, on-site position based at The Birmingham Clinic. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, developing individualised treatment plans, and delivering chiropractic care with a focus on spinal health and musculoskeletal function. The Junior Associate Chiropractor will perform adjustments and related therapeutic interventions, maintain accurate clinical records, and collaborate with other clinicians to support integrated patient care. Additional duties include educating patients on posture, exercise, and lifestyle strategies, participating in case discussions, and supporting clinic protocols and quality standards.

This role is on a commision basis where you will handle your own diary and participate in community spine check stalls to generate new clients.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and review of medical histories
• Develop and implement tailored chiropractic treatment plans focused on pain relief, mobility improvement, and injury prevention
• Utilise hands-on techniques such as spinal adjustments, mobilizations, and soft tissue therapies
• Educate patients on posture correction, ergonomic practices, and lifestyle modifications for optimal health
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic patient care when necessary
• Stay current with the latest chiropractic research and techniques to enhance treatment efficacy

Requirements

• MSc Chiropractics and GCC registered or working towards GCC registration
• Demonstrated expertise in the spine and musculoskeletal system, with the ability to assess and manage a range of spinal and joint conditions.
• Strong proficiency in chiropractic techniques and adjustments, with a commitment to safe, evidence-informed practice.
• Solid foundation in human anatomy as it relates to musculoskeletal and neuromuscular health, including
• understanding of contraindications and red flags.
• Current chiropractic qualification and professional registration/licensure as required in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Experience in a clinical setting, ideally within a multidisciplinary or specialist clinic environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered, non-judgmental approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and follow clinic procedures, while managing a personal caseload responsibly.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
• Able to travel to and from Great Barr, Birmingham
