Full job description

We are AcuSpa Ltd, a private medical clinic established in 2013. Voted the top Acupuncture clinic in Manchester by 3 Best Rated for 6 consecutive years. We are a thriving clinic. Over the years, we have grown organically through word-of-mouth recommendations. Now in its 10th year of trading, the award-winning clinic is now recruiting for several positions. Located in the Spinningfields and Deansgate thoroughfares, the clinic is positioned in one of the most desirable postcodes in Manchester.

We are currently looking for a Senior Chiropractor to join our award-winning team. The successful candidate will be expected to work 1-2 days a week with up to 8 working hours per day with the potential to increase the number of days where and when demand dictates.

The Role:

We are committed to a multi-disciplinary team based on competency and we

welcome applications from Osteopaths, Chiropractors and

Rehabilitation Therapists. You must be registered with the HCPC (Health & Care

Professions Council) or equivalent and be qualified as a professional that works

within musculoskeletal clinical practice for a minimum of 6-7 years. You must also

possess a degree level or equivalent qualification in physiotherapy or sports therapy

& rehabilitation or chiropractic studies.

To provide safe and effective delivery of clinical interventions in line with professional

standards and governance requirements.

To personally deliver a quality clinical service, meeting the clinical, and operational needs of the service deliverables.

To be challenged to push the boundaries of conventional rehabilitation with the responsibility for the delivery of high-quality rehabilitation in both one to one and controlled group settings.

To develop and promote a positive and dynamic image and culture to both our internal and external stakeholders and, at all times, reflecting and encouraging core value behaviour amongst the team.

You will work closely with our Lead Clinician to co-develop & enhance the clinic’s

services portfolio.

To develop productive relationships with targeted & defined patient groups identified within the company database and to develop and foster external relationships with potential target groups that will benefit from collaborative projects e.g., local gyms

and leisure centres and NHS funded rehabilitation and pain management centres.

To contribute to the shaping and delivery of musculoskeletal content for our teaching academy project (in development) and be actively engaged with our education & training pillars.

To embody and work within a culture of continuous professional improvement and to push the boundaries of clinical excellence through research, and productivity.

The Package: the remuneration structure.

An attractive commission structure with the potential to earn in excess of £40.00 per hour or more depending on the negotiated variables of the remuneration structure.

The clinic has a ready-made client base that the successful candidate can tap into with immediate effect.

An opportunity to participate and capitalise on a bonus driven remuneration structure.

Staff discounts available for in-house medical treatments.

Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for motivated advanced practice clinicians who are passionate about the consistent delivery of quality, evidence-based rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. The successful candidate must be experienced in delivering and developing pain management programmes.

You will work as an advanced practice clinician with an expertise and specialist

interest in rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions. An interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine is a bonus.

You will have expert rehabilitation skills with the ability to apply them in different settings and in different types of consultations. You will be able to identify when rehabilitation is not the best management pathway and be able to refer to appropriate specialties as required.

You will be responsible for the comprehensive and holistic management of patients utilising advanced decision-making and clinical reasoning skills.

You will need to be proactive in developing excellent working relationships within the

team. You will have the opportunity to develop the rehabilitation skills of others by working closely with less experienced members of the team. This may also involve developing musculoskeletal clinicians through the clinic’s teaching academy (in development).

Must have own professional indemnity insurance. Immediate start.
