Full job description

Join Surrey's award-winning wellness centre

At Transform Wellness, we are on a mission to ignite a wellness revolution and transform lives. We are a busy, multidisciplinary clinic in the heart of Epsom, with chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapists and personal trainers all under one roof, and more than 200 five-star Google reviews from our patients.

Our tribe is growing, and we are looking for a Sports Massage and Rehab Therapist, or a Physiotherapist who can deliver both hands-on treatment and rehab. You can join us as an employee on an hourly rate that rises as your diary fills, or as a self-employed therapist on a per-treatment rate that rises after your first year.

Why we are different

We do not do quick fixes. Every new patient has a thorough assessment with one of our chiropractors first, so we understand the cause of their problem before anyone is treated. Our chiropractors then create a bespoke care plan for each patient, and most of those plans include sports massage and rehab. On top of that, we actively market massage and rehab to our patients and members. This means you are not building a client base on your own: you join patients who are already on a clear plan, working alongside a team that shares the same goal of helping people get better and stay well.

What you will do

  • Deliver the massage and rehab parts of the bespoke care plans our chiropractors create for each patient
  • Assess clients to understand injuries, muscular imbalances and movement restrictions
  • Deliver sports massage and soft tissue treatment (around 75% of your diary) and rehab support (around 25%)
  • Design and progress personalised rehab programmes, using our on-site training facility
  • Teach clients self-care, injury prevention and habits that keep them well
  • Work closely with our chiropractors and personal trainers on each client's plan
  • Recommend the right ongoing care for each client and build a loyal, returning client base
  • Keep clear, accurate treatment notes and progress records

What we are looking for

  • Massage and rehab therapists: a Level 4–5 qualification in Sports Massage Therapy with rehab training, or a degree in Sports Rehabilitation or Sports Therapy
  • Physiotherapists: current HCPC registration, plus confidence delivering sports massage alongside rehab
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and rehabilitation
  • 2 years' experience preferred, though we welcome enthusiastic newer graduates
  • The energy to deliver high-quality treatment across a busy diary
  • A confident, warm communicator who builds long-term relationships with clients
  • A team player who loves learning
  • Desirable but not essential: pregnancy massage, dry needling or cupping

What we offer

Employed:

  • £16 per hour to start
  • A rising hourly rate after probation: your rate increases on a sliding scale up to £20 per hour as your diary fills, so the busier you are, the more you earn per hour
  • A steady stream of patients: massage and rehab are built into most of our chiropractors' care plans, and we market them to our patients and members
  • Funded additional training and certifications
  • A mentoring programme and ongoing professional development
  • Paid holiday plus additional leave
  • Sick pay
  • Company pension
  • Free gym access and fitness classes at our on-site training facility
  • Team discount on treatments and products
  • Company events with a fun, supportive team
  • On-site parking

Self-employed:

  • £14 per 30-minute treatment (£28 per treatment hour), rising to £15 per 30 minutes (£30 per hour) after your first year
  • Access to patient referrals, as massage and rehab are part of most of our chiropractors' care plans
  • A fully equipped treatment room, with reception handling bookings
  • On-site parking
  • You set your own availability and run your own practice, with your own insurance and professional membership

Hours: 15–25 hours per week, across Monday to Saturday.

Start date: End of October 2026, or as soon as your notice period allows.

Pay: £16.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week

Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • Employee discount
  • Free parking
  • On-site gym
  • On-site parking

Application question(s):

  • Are you applying for the employed role, the self-employed role, or are you open to both?
  • Which qualification do you hold? (Level 4–5 Sports Massage / Sports Rehab or Sports Therapy degree / HCPC-registered Physiotherapist / Other)
  • How many hours per week are you looking for, between 15 and 25?
  • Do you live close to Epsom?
  • Are you able to work weekdays and Saturdays?

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)

Work Location: In person
