Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing support to our chiropractic practitioners and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in anatomy and a passion for helping others achieve their health goals.
Responsibilities
- 50% of the role is reception based and 50% is working alongside the chiropractor.
- Assist chiropractors during patient consultations, examinations and treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and guide them through the check-in process.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and wellness practices as directed by the chiropractor.
- Handle administrative tasks such as diary management, answering the phone politely, billing, insurance verification, and managing patient inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.
Requirements
- Knowledge of anatomy is essential to effectively assist in treatments and educate patients.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or chiropractic setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A compassionate attitude towards patient care and a desire to contribute positively to their health journey.
Location
This postion is across two sites so the abilitiy to travel is a must.
