Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Chiropractic Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing support to our chiropractic practitioners and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in anatomy and a passion for helping others achieve their health goals.

Responsibilities

  • 50% of the role is reception based and 50% is working alongside the chiropractor.
  • Assist chiropractors during patient consultations, examinations and treatments.
  • Prepare treatment rooms, ensuring they are clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Greet patients warmly upon arrival and guide them through the check-in process.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, exercises, and wellness practices as directed by the chiropractor.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as diary management, answering the phone politely, billing, insurance verification, and managing patient inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of anatomy is essential to effectively assist in treatments and educate patients.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or chiropractic setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • A compassionate attitude towards patient care and a desire to contribute positively to their health journey.

Location

This postion is across two sites so the abilitiy to travel is a must.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 43.5 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Chellaston DE73: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Degree in Sports Therapy (required)
