Full job description
Liverpool Chiropractic Clinic
We are looking for a confident, friendly and proactive Sports Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Liverpool Chiropractic Clinic.
This is a varied role combining sports therapy, clinical support and front-desk duties, so we are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a busy team and is happy to help wherever needed within the clinic.
The Role
Your week will be split across three main areas:
Sports Therapy:
You will provide sports massage and soft tissue treatment to patients within the clinic, working alongside our chiropractors, physiotherapists and wider clinical team.
You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of patient care and creating a professional, welcoming experience for every patient.
Clinical / Tech Support:
You will also work as part of our clinical support team, assisting practitioners with assessments and patient flow.
This can include:
- Taking digital posture photographs
- Performing nervous system / neurological scanning
- Uploading scans, images and relevant information onto our clinical systems
- Preparing patients for their appointments
- Supporting chiropractors and therapists during busy clinics
- Helping the clinic run efficiently between appointments
Full training will be provided on our equipment and systems.
Reception & Front of House:
The successful applicant must also be comfortable working on reception when required.
This includes:
- Welcoming patients into the clinic
- Answering telephone calls
- Booking and changing appointments
- Taking payments
- Helping patients with general enquiries
- Supporting the reception team during busy periods
- Providing reception cover for holidays or sickness when required
This is an important part of the position. We are looking for somebody who sees themselves as part of the wider clinic team rather than someone who only wants to work within a treatment room.
Working Pattern
The role will include a mixture of morning and afternoon shifts across the week.
Saturday morning availability is essential.
Please only apply if you are willing and able to work Saturdays as part of your regular rota.
The exact weekly rota will be discussed during the recruitment process.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for somebody who is:
- Qualified in Sports Therapy, Sports Massage or a relevant equivalent qualification
- Confident and personable with patients
- Comfortable working in a busy multidisciplinary clinic
- Happy to work both clinically and on reception
- Comfortable answering the telephone and speaking with patients
- Organised and reliable
- Confident using technology and willing to learn new clinical systems
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team member
- Flexible and willing to help where needed
- Available to work Saturday mornings
Previous reception or customer service experience would be useful, but it is not essential as training can be provided.
About Liverpool Chiropractic Clinic
