Job Title: Sports Massage Therapist

Location: Buxton Chiropractic Clinic, Buxton Spa, High Peak

Type: Room Rental – 2 Shifts Per Week

Buxton Chiropractic is seeking a qualified and motivated Sports Massage Therapist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a therapist to work in a well-established clinic, providing exceptional care to a diverse range of clients.

You’ll have access to a professional treatment room within our clinic for two shifts per week, with the flexibility to grow your client base in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and create personalised treatment plans tailored to clients’ needs.

• Provide sports massage therapy using a variety of techniques, including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.

• Offer post-treatment care and advice, including stretches and exercises to enhance mobility and prevent injury.

• Maintain accurate client records and liaise with chiropractors and other healthcare professionals as needed.

• Promote your services to build and maintain a steady client base.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy or equivalent qualification.

• Valid liability insurance.

• A strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.

• Self-motivated and capable of managing your own bookings and schedule.

• Flexibility to work two shifts per week, including evenings or weekends if required.
