Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team on a fixed term permanent contract. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care within a busy clinical environment, supporting doctors and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care, including health assessments, wound care, and health education.
- Administer medications and vaccinations accurately in accordance with prescribed protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and record medical histories with attention to detail.
- Assist with minor procedures and ensure the clinical environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Support patients through health promotion activities and provide advice on managing chronic conditions.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification with valid registration from the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical or primary care setting.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Competence in medication administration, including injections and other treatments.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to support diverse patient needs. This role is ideal for a proactive nurse committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Pay: From £19.00 per hour
