Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Evangelism/Religious Program Coordinator to support our community outreach and spiritual programmes. This role involves assisting in organising religious activities, mentoring participants, and fostering a welcoming environment for individuals of all ages. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication skills, and a genuine passion for service and spiritual development. Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing religious programmes, outreach events, and community activities.
  • Support the organisation of educational sessions, youth groups, and mentoring programmes.
  • Foster positive relationships with programme participants, volunteers, and community members.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to individuals of all ages, including children and vulnerable groups.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop fundraising initiatives to support programme activities.
  • Help coordinate volunteer efforts and ensure smooth operation of events and activities.
  • Contribute to programme evaluation by gathering feedback and suggesting improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and programme outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in teaching or mentoring roles, preferably within religious or community settings.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working with children or vulnerable groups is highly desirable.
  • Compassionate attitude with a commitment to service and community development.
  • Ability to organise events, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of hospice care or experience supporting individuals in care settings is an advantage.
  • Skills in fundraising and programme promotion are beneficial but not essential. This role provides an enriching opportunity for individuals passionate about faith-based community work to develop their skills while making a positive difference in people's lives.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
