Nutley is a small rural primary school, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team, where you will enjoy the challenge of working across the school, supporting teachers and working with small groups or individuals. The 7 hours term time only contract will include some class cover work and there may also be opportunities to provide class cover at other times on a claims only basis.
Please be aware that we are advertising for an additional position that could be applied for alongside this role.
The successful candidate will:

Be enthusiastic and committed to developing the whole child, both personally and academically.

Have a good level of literacy and numeracy skills and knowledge.

Feel confident working both with individual pupils and larger pupil groups.

Have excellent motivational and communication skills

Be someone who is determined and resilient, calm under pressure and with

Have integrity, tenacity and enthusiasm to fulfil the role

Have experience in a classroom supporting the Class Teacher as well as working independently with small groups of children

Be an excellent Teaching Assistant with high expectations for welfare of pupils

Participate fully as an innovative member of our team
Salary Range, currently TA3 £25,185 - £25,583 pro-rata
