Youlend is looking for a results orientated Collections Executive to join our multi-geo Collections and Recoveries team. In this role, the candidate will be a primary point of contact, servicing the UK sector. They will ensure timely payments whilst maintaining positive and professional relationships that YouLend is renowned for.


Key Responsibilities


  • Collections and recoveries understanding (customer contact strategy awareness)
  • Provide first-class service relating to the resolution of any non/under-paying merchant
  • Case management of high value accounts in arrears across varying and unique circumstances
  • Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls and create ad hoc letter and email content with high levels of care, awareness and accuracy
  • Build positive relationships with our merchants to validate their circumstances and resolve with a positive outcome for both YouLend and the merchant
  • Negotiate, implement and execute positive solutions with merchants' circumstances in mind, while balancing the best interests of the business
  • Data input - accurately inputting data across multiple systems


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Strong communication skills, accuracy and confidence
  • Be highly reliable, organised and adaptable
  • Have excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data
  • Insolvency knowledge
  • The ability to deal with a variety of challenges, innovate and think on your feet
  • Business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit with real enthusiasm for helping SMEs
  • Experience within the finance industry is advantageous
