Pay: £12.21 - £14.26

In partnership with G4S and Stepping Stones NI

We are currently recruiting Security Officers to work across multiple locations throughout Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Area.

Security Officer positions across a range of public and private sector sites. Successful candidates will be matched to a suitable site following training and interview.

This recruitment is delivered in partnership with Stepping Stones NI, a local charity supporting people into sustainable employment. We provide full support from application through to interview and into employment.

The Role

Duties may include:

  • Monitoring premises and conducting patrols
  • Access control and visitor management
  • Responding to incidents and reporting concerns
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment
  • Working flexibly across assigned sites (role dependent)

Locations

  • Multiple sites throughout ABC Area
  • Willingness to travel within the local area (site dependent)

Shift Patterns

Shift patterns vary by site and may include:

  • 12-hour shifts (days and nights)
  • 6am–6pm / 7am–7pm
  • 6pm–6am / 7pm–7am
  • 4 days on / 4 days off (site dependent)
  • Monday–Sunday coverage, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Some roles offer standard 40 hours per week

Pay

  • Competitive hourly rates, dependent on site and role

Training & Guaranteed Interview

✔ No SIA licence required as full training is provided by G4S
✔ Full training provided
✔ Must be available for training and a guaranteed interview between 17th -18th June 2026.

Training includes:

  • Conflict Management Level 2
  • Customer Service Level 2

  • Flexible availability (days, nights, weekends)
  • Reliable, professional, and confident communicator
  • Ability to travel to assigned sites
  • Full UK driving licence required for some roles
