Minimum of 3 years of property claims handling and scheduling experience

Prism Claims Group - Whether an insurance company we partner with or one of their affected policyholders/3rd Parties – we make it easy to swiftly and smoothly settle insurance claims for property damage – by instigating rapid repairs. From validating a claim to fixing the damage – we’re obsessed with making your experience with us seamless – dealing with all parties on insurers' behalf.

We have an immediate Full-time opportunity for an experienced claims handler to join our vibrant team.

As a result of obtaining several new Insurance contracts for property repairs, we are now looking to take on a Claims Handler.

The Role:

The role has become available due to multiple years of growth and you will be fully responsible for dealing with claims from cradle to grave.

You will be liaising between Insurers, policyholders, 3rd Parties, leaseholders, contractors and surveyors via phone and email.

Managing your portfolio of claims from cradle to grave.

Assisting in negotiating and adjusting claims.

Dealing with incoming and outgoing phone calls to our key stakeholders.

Updating daily activity on the Claims Management System maintaining a clear audit trail.

Competent and confident in using computers.

Successful candidates: Minimum of 3 years property claims handling experience

The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in validating, reviewing and authorising surveyor's/contractor's schedules of work.

Experience working with insurance-related perils and dealing with Fire, Flood, Escape of water, smoke, impact, storm or subsidence property claims.

Specific experience in dealing with Insurance Policy Holders regarding commercial building repairs, repudiations and validation work.

First-class communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels build relationships with our customers effectively deal with the problems and find resolutions within a tight time frame.

Background within insurance claims, contracting, housing or maintenance settings is essential.

The desire to consistently provide excellent customer service.

An understanding of responsive repair contracts and what constitutes an excellent service.

Good knowledge of Excel, Word and Emails.

Ability to prioritise and manage workload.
