ABS Resourcing Ltd is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on behalf of our client based in Preston

This is an temp to perm full time perm position.

Immediate starts avaliable

NEW PASSES WELCOME

As a Class 2 driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods in a safe and timely manner.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and experienced driver who enjoys working independently and has a strong customer service orientation
.
Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload goods from the vehicle. Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery schedules
  • Deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring accuracy and exceptional customer service
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately
  • Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations
  • Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or maintenance needs

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 driving license
  • Excellent knowledge of road traffic laws and regulations
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritise multiple deliveries
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Must have no more than 9 points on licence.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £16.00 per hour
