Full job description

Position: Temporary Cleaning Operative

Contract Type: Temporary - to be reviewed in 2 months

Location: Broughton Primary School, Moor Road, Great Broughton, Cockermouth, Cumbria, CA13 0YT

Hours: 12.30 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 2.30 hours per day Monday to Friday, 15:30-18:00.

Salary: £12.71 per hour

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

To deliver a high standard cleaning service, ensuring all areas are hygienic and safe for use. Always operate in line with Company Health and Safety Policies and guidelines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Cleaning and Standards

  • Clean, stock and supply designated areas (including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
  • Operate a quick and efficient cleaning service without compromising on quality.
  • Wear Uniform on site to maintain a professional Company image.
  • Follow instructions for specific requirements at various facilities.
  • Report any issues or broken equipment to your supervisor promptly.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and customers.

Health, Safety and Environment:

  • Adhere to all Health and Safety Procedures, including wearing PPE and using equipment only if trained.
