Cumbria Bright is one of West Cumbria's most trusted cleaning companies, looking after family homes, businesses, and a fast-growing portfolio of Airbnb and holiday-let properties across the Lake District. We're expanding, and we need reliable, detail-obsessed cleaners to join the team.

At £15 an hour we pay well above the going rate — because we expect a genuinely high standard, and we'd rather pay for it than chase it.

What the job actually looks like

No two days are the same. You might be deep-cleaning a beautiful family home, turning around a stylish holiday let between guests, or getting an office spotless for the week ahead. Your work is what makes a homeowner proud of their house and a guest's Lake District stay start perfectly.

What you'll be doing

  • High-quality domestic cleaning — dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising, the lot
  • Airbnb and holiday-let changeovers to a guest-ready, five-star finish
  • Making sure every property is presented like it's your own
  • Looking after your equipment and flagging anything that needs sorting

You'll fit right in if you

  • Take real pride in your work and notice the details other people miss
  • Are reliable and good with your time — when you say you'll be there, you're there
  • Have previous cleaning experience, or can clearly show you can clean to a professional, luxury-home standard
  • Hold a full UK driving licence and have your own vehicle
  • Can work across Workington, Whitehaven, Egremont and the surrounding areas
  • Don't mind the occasional weekend hours for holiday-let changeovers
