Job Summary for a Cleaning Site Manager:

A new position has arisen for a temporary Site Cleaning Manager to join our fast-growing well-established cleaning services and maintenance company. We provide daily office and education cleaning in Greater Manchester.

As a temporary Site Cleaning Manager you will manage a team of 26 cleaners and janitors and maintain cleaning standards within 2 large neighbouring sites whilst representing ServiceMaster and keeping a professional standard.

Responsibilities of Site Cleaning Manager:

• Vacuuming, Mopping and Sweeping
• Damp & Wet Wiping
• Janitorial Duties
• Work Planning
• Maintaining stock, machinery, and chemicals
• Management of your teams on site
• Completing paperwork for HR and Payroll
• Checking all work is completed to a high standard throughout the sites
• Reporting any concerns or inaccuracies to you Key Account Manager

What we are looking for in a Site Cleaning Manager here at ServiceMaster Manchester:

• Must be able to undertake regular cleaning duties to a high standard
• Must be able to manage teams of cleaners
• Must be able to address any issues within the team and put corrective actions in place
• Must be able to use different chemicals competently and ensure correct PPE is used (this will be provided)
• Minimum of 3 years’ supervision experience in Facilities Management
• Ensure the smooth running of the facilities management on sites
• HR knowledge essential as you will be conducting return to work interviews, records of meetings, recruiting and investigations

Additional Information for Site Cleaning Manager:

• Temporary position for no fixed time
• 35 hours per week + 1 hour unpaid break
• Monday to Friday
• Full uniform & PPE provided
• DBS is essential (we will process on behalf of the successful candidate)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Facilities management: 3 years (preferred)
• Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
