The main function of this role will include recording and auditing waste management and ensuring that areas of work allocated are cleaned to the required standard/specification as well as assisting in the cleaning of the building.

The successful candidate will have significant demonstrable experience in cleaning of commercial buildings, with knowledge of health and safety practices. The ideal candidate will have a good level of IT knowledge to maintain accurate records and will have previous experience of leading a team.

For further information, please download the job description and Terms and Conditions.

Petroc is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All positions are subject to the completion of checks, including an Enhanced DBS clearance. We are permitted to ask whether an applicant has any convictions, cautions or reprimands or final warnings (spent or otherwise) which would not be filtered in line with current guidance as defined by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020).

In line with the most recent Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines, an online search will also be carried out for short-listed candidates prior to interview. This is to identify any incidents or issues that are publicly available online, which the College may explore with applicants at interview. This is a safeguarding check to assess if the individual is suitable to work with young and/or vulnerable learners.
