Workshop Site Janitor/cleaner

Location: Fradley WS14 8NG

Contract: Full time/part time permanent

Hours: Mon- Friday (flexible hours available minimum 30 hours per week up to 40hrs)

The role:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Workshop Site Janitor /Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across our workshop site. The role is essential in ensuring a clean, organised, and hazard-free working environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain cleanliness of workshop floors, bays, and common areas this includes manual tasks in all weather elements.
  • Empty bins and manage waste disposal according to site procedures
  • Clean staff facilities including toilets, break rooms, and offices
  • Mop, sweep, and carry out general floor care
  • Wipe down surfaces, tools, and equipment areas when required
  • Report any hazards, damages, or maintenance issues
  • Refill consumables such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning supplies
  • To inform managers when skips, oil drums and filter bins are full.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines, especially around workshop machinery and chemicals

What you will need:

  • Previous cleaning experience within a workshop industrial environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable with manual tasks, weather elements within an industrial environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
