Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Technician to join our team. This role involves a blend of on site workshop repairs and traveling to our customers to maintain, repair, and service a wide range of industrial cleaning equipment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have strong technical mechanical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair various industrial cleaning machines.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment.
• Provide on-site support and technical assistance to clients.
• Ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
• Capture correct client data and make updates to jobs in "real-time" including pictures and videos where necessary.
• Assist in the training and support of customers on equipment usage.
• Be able to obtain correct part numbers from exploded parts diagrams and maintain van stock levels.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a mechanical technician or similar role.
• Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing industrial machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A good level of physical fitness that will enable manual handling, such as lifting heavy industrial battery packs etc.
• Experience in the safe use of standard hand tools, electrical tools, lifting equipment and hot work equipment.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
• Good IT skills and competence in using a tablet.
• Valid UK Manual driving license.

Experience:

• Mechanical & Electrical: 2 years (required)
• Repairing Cleaning Equipment: 2 years (required)
• Repairing Pressure Washers: 2 years (required)
• Language: English (required)
• Full clean manual driving licence (required)

Schedule:

• 7.5hr shifts - 08:30am - 16:30pm
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
