Job Title: Housekeeper

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time- 12 hours shifts including alternate weekends.

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Location:

Overall expectations for this role:

Maintains a well presented, homely and safe environment whilst developing respectful relationships with Residents and Colleagues. Housekeepers have the day to day responsibility for all cleaning activities in the home (excluding the kitchen and grounds)

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining:

  • A safe, hygienic and well-presented home in a way that meets the Residents needs and preferences in a caring and responsive manner.
  • Compliance with Cedar Care policies, procedures and systems.
  • Ensuring that records are current, accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a high-quality cleaning service, whilst maintaining a nurturing, open, fair and transparent culture
  • Being approachable and consistent in manner and proactively reports any issues to the Head Housekeeper.
  • The Residents rooms are arranged and cleaned to their satisfaction with minimum inconvenience to their daily routine.
  • Providing effective and efficient cleaning services that are delivered in a respectful way.
  • Maintaining a caring culture, treating people with dignity and respect at all times.
