What are the pay and benefits?

  • £28,303 for a for a 40-hour full time, permanent position.
  • 26 days holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays, rising to 30 days with length of service
  • Agile working with location flexibility required mainly at our Swansea office, the role will involve working throughout our estates within South Wales.
  • Working pattern is Monday to Friday days

As the Estates Cleaning Lead, you'll have the opportunity to lead a team of mobile cleaners, ensuring smooth operations and continual improvement in environmental cleanliness. This role offers autonomy and the chance to make a real impact on customer satisfaction and wellbeing.

Where does the role fit in?

As the Estates Cleaning Lead, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing mobile cleaners, conducting quality inspections, and collaborating with internal and external partners to enhance service delivery. You'll report directly to the Estates & Environment Manager and work closely with other Team Leaders within Estates servicing.

What skills and experience do you need?

To excel as an Estates Cleaning Lead, you should possess a wealth of experience and a diverse skill set. Experience-wise, a solid background in the cleaning industry is essential, alongside a proven track record of managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in IT, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook, is crucial, as is prior involvement in health, safety, and facilities management services. Leadership experience is also highly valued. Educationally, a relevant technical or vocational qualification is beneficial, as is familiarity with industrial/public cleaning services.
