Cleaner - Notcutts Brampton Garden Centre

Part-Time Hours - up to 14 hours per week 0730 - 0930 (to include some weekends)

Notcutts is one of the largest Garden Centre Groups in the UK. Our Brampton Garden Centre has high standards and huge customer appeal.

We are looking for a cleaner to ensure that our restaurant and commercial kitchen area is maintained to high quality standards of cleanliness. Working a minimum of 2 hours a day up to 14 hours per week, including some weekends and bank holidays.

You will be required to perform various scheduled cleaning duties in the kitchen and restaurant, and other associated areas within the wider Garden Centre if required, in order to maintain acceptable levels of appearance, cleanliness and hygiene.

Your duties will include:

• Ensure that any areas assigned are clean, hygienic and tidy
• Ensure that any health and safety hazards are dealt with appropriately and/or referred to management
• Undertake ad-hoc cleaning duties as and when required
• Ensure that safe working practices are adhered to at all times

You will be expected to have previous experience of working within a commercial kitchen and restaurant environment performing cleaning duties, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, take pride in the cleanliness of the restaurant and have an eye for detail. It goes without saying that being helpful and friendly and feeling comfortable working within a public used environment is a must. The ideal candidate will also be enthusiastic, committed and self motivated and be able to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative.
