Full job description

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Assistant / Pot Washer to join our busy kitchen team at The Ramsholt Arms, a popular riverside pub near Woodbridge serving fresh, high-quality food.

This role is hugely important to the smooth running of the kitchen and we are looking for someone who takes pride in keeping a clean, organised and efficient working environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Washing pots, pans, crockery and kitchen equipment
  • Maintaining exceptionally high cleaning standards throughout the kitchen
  • Keeping all kitchen areas clean, tidy and hygienic during service
  • Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required
  • Cleaning floors, surfaces, fridges and storage areas
  • Helping with deliveries and stock organisation
  • Ensuring all health & safety and food hygiene procedures are followed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Hardworking with a positive attitude
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Kitchen experience is helpful but not essential as full training can be given
