Position: Field Manager

Department: Operations

Reports to: Director

Direct Reports: Supervisor, Technical Officer, and a team of kitchen extraction cleaning professionals

Location: High Wycombe

Summary:

The Field Manager for the Kitchen Extraction Cleaning Company will hold a critical role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen extraction cleaning teams. This role encompasses leading a team of individuals, including a Supervisor and Technical Officer, to provide exceptional cleaning services aimed at maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and compliance of commercial kitchen extraction systems. The Field Manager will report directly to the Directors of the company.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the kitchen extraction cleaning team, ensuring the Supervisor, Technical Officer, and all team members understand and execute their roles effectively.

Operational Excellence: Oversee the seamless execution of cleaning operations for kitchen extraction systems, including scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to rigorous cleaning protocols and safety standards. Support to office administration staff will also be required.

Quality Assurance: Monitor, evaluate, and uphold the highest standards of cleaning services delivered by the team, guaranteeing alignment with industry regulations and the company's exacting guidelines.

Skill Enhancement: Identify training needs and develop a comprehensive training program to elevate the skills and knowledge of the cleaning team, keeping them informed about the latest cleaning techniques and technologies.

Performance Management: Conduct regular performance assessments, supply constructive feedback, and address performance-related concerns within the team promptly.

Safety Advocacy: Ensure all cleaning activities adhere to strict health and safety protocols, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and hazards.

Inventory Oversight: Supervise the maintenance and replenishment of cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies to guarantee the team's operational effectiveness.

Reporting: Prepare detailed, regular reports on team performance, operational efficiency, and other pertinent metrics for review by the Directors.

Innovative Problem Solving: Proactively identify operational challenges and implement innovative solutions to streamline processes and elevate service quality.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in operations, preferably within the kitchen extraction cleaning or related industries.

Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated expertise in leading and managing a diverse team, cultivating collaboration, and achieving exceptional results.

Technical Proficiency: Thorough understanding of kitchen extraction cleaning processes, equipment, and safety standards.

Communication Mastery: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.

Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude, capable of making sound decisions under pressure.

Organizational Prowess: Effective organizational skills to optimize schedules, resources, and tasks.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive amidst shifting priorities and operational dynamics.

Tech Savviness: Proficiency in office software and management tools for streamlined reporting and communication.

Reporting Relationship:

The Field Manager will report directly to the Director of the company while maintaining close collaboration with other staff as required.
