Full job description
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Domestic Assistant to join our residential care services in Great Missenden in Buckinghamshire (30 hours per week).
Please note, we are located on the outskirts of Great Missenden, public transport is not an option, you will need your own transport.
An award-winning home, Woodlands Park provides the very best expert care for people living with Dementia in 24-hour residential care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning all surfaces and floors in public areas including the use of mechanical cleaning and polishing equipment as directed.
- Cleaning residents rooms including all surfaces and floors Cleaning toilets, baths, basins, showers and sluice rooms
- Dusting all surfaces and furniture
- Dusting, vacuuming and washing down of all areas
- Cleaning of all windows
- Polishing of mirrors, and brass plates on doors and furniture (as applicable)
- Shampooing of carpets
- Cleaning of curtains and furniture
- Emptying/cleaning of waste bins
- You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of laundry within the home
Some experience in a similar role (6 months plus) is preferred, although full training will be given.
