About Us

Calabash Mint provide a complete range of washroom hygiene services, sanitary disposal and washroom supplies tailored specifically to the needs of our clients.

We are seeking a friendly, positive, and proactive individual to join our team as a Relief Service Driver. If you show initiative and take ownership of your role, we want to hear from you!

As part of our team, you will receive support from our dedicated Service Manager and Operations team, ensuring you have the guidance and resources needed to succeed. You will also undergo a comprehensive 4-week training programme to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role.

Key Responsibilities

As a Relief Service Driver, your primary responsibility will be to cover the routes of drivers who are on annual leave or sick leave. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. Your main duties will include:

  • Service clients' sanitary bins, air fresheners, soaps, etc., maintaining a high level of service.
  • Communicate with the Service Manager, Operations Team, and Customers regarding all servicing and any arising issues.
  • Ensure all allocated jobs are completed by the end of each week.
  • Obtain a client signature and name on every completed job using app system.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols set out by the client.
  • Keep the company vehicle clean and tidy, and always wear a clean and tidy company uniform.

Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK Manual Driving Licence for a minimum of 12 months, ideally with no points (any points will be subject to insurance confirmation).
  • Be aged 21 or over due to vehicle insurance requirements.
  • Enhanced DBS check clearance.
  • Commitment to providing excellent service to our clients.
  • Proactive attitude and use of initiative.
  • Ability to take ownership of routes and jobs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Pride in your work.
