Location

You must be within a 10 minute drive of Knaresborough as you will be working in the van of an existing employee that lives there.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Window Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that windows are cleaned to the highest standards, providing exceptional service to our clients. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Good work ethic is a must and you will require the needed level of fitness to fulfil the manual nature of the role

Duties

  • You will be contracted to 5 days a week. However, you will only be allocated 4 days work a week meaning an efficient worker will have Fridays off if all jobs are completed as expected.
  • Clean windows of various sizes and types, both residential and commercial.
  • Use Reach and Wash Pole System to ensure a streak-free finish.
  • Drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments. Knaresborough, Harrogate and surrounding area.
  • Communicate politely with clients and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues or repairs needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Ensure that all work areas are left clean and tidy after each job.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in window cleaning is not essential; training will be provided.
  • Must be flexible if the weather forces jobs to be rescheduled
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites.
  • Must be physically fit, as the role involves standing for extended periods and a degree of strength.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety on the job.
