Holiday Cottage Housekeeper / Changeover Cleaner Wanted – Cambridge Area

Cambridge Country Cottages is looking for a reliable, experienced and detail-oriented cleaner/housekeeper to help look after our holiday cottages and prepare them for arriving guests.

We are looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and has a great eye for detail. As these are holiday cottages, we're looking for someone who can make sure each property is left looking immaculate, welcoming and completely guest-ready.

The role will include:

  • Full cleaning of the cottages between guests
  • Changing and making beds to a high standard
  • Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
  • Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
  • Restocking guest essentials
  • Checking that everything is clean, tidy and beautifully presented
  • Letting us know about any damage, maintenance issues or missing items
  • Occasional deeper cleans when required

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Extremely reliable and trustworthy
  • Experienced in cleaning/housekeeping
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Happy working independently
  • Flexible, as changeover days can vary depending on bookings
  • Has their own transport

Holiday cottage/hotel/Airbnb housekeeping experience would be a big bonus, but isn't essential if you have high standards and the right attitude.

Pay: £17–£18 per hour depending on experience

Regular ongoing work available for the right person.
