Full job description

We are currently looking to expand our team and recruiting for Housekeeping Room Attendants.

Principal Accountabilities:

Ensure cleaning of guest rooms, corridors and public areas is to a very high standard

Ensure reputation of housekeeping and hotel is continually maintained

To promote a helpful and professional image to hotel guests by giving full co-operation to any guest requiring assistance, with a prompt and caring attitude

To anticipate guest needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and in turn enhance client satisfaction

Welcome all customers in a pleasant and polite manner at all times

Proactively encourage guests to provide feedback on guest comment cards or online internet sites

Maintain relationships with customers and colleagues

Work to departmental minimum standards of performance

Ensure housekeeping trolley is maintained on a daily basis

Follow company policy in regards to disposal of waste

Undertake regular deep cleaning duties

Ensure staff dress code is adhered to at all times

Ensure lost property is passed to the Head Housekeeper for safe storage

Maintain regular and effective communication within your team by attending briefing sessions and meetings when required

Communicate effectively with HOD and General Manager

To identify and report maintenance requirements and hazards in the work place to Head Housekeeper

To comply with statutory and legal requirements for fire, health and safety, licensing and employment and to ensure that members of the team are also aware of these requirements and are working in accordance to these requirements

Job Type: Full-time
