Full job description

We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and proactive live-in housekeeper to join us in managing and maintaining our large country house and estate. This is a hands-on role combining housekeeping, cleaning, and caretaking duties with occasional support for events and guest changeovers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning & Housekeeping
  • Daily cleaning and upkeep of the villa (8 ensuite bedrooms, reception rooms, kitchen, communal spaces).
  • Laundry, bed making, linen management, ironing.
  • Deep cleaning after guest stays/events.
  • Ensuring the property is always presented to “hotel-ready” standards.
  • Caretaking & General Duties
  • Supporting with check-ins/check-outs when required.
  • Monitoring supplies (cleaning products, toiletries, linens) and restocking as needed.
  • Reporting maintenance issues promptly.
  • Assisting with setting up for weddings/events (moving furniture, light décor help).
  • Occasional errands/shopping.
  • Light cooking duties

Ideally would need someone who can start asap the position is open, you’ll get two days off a week and rota is worked around you and another person so depends on which hours you’d both prefer.
