Housekeeping Porter

Main role and objectives:

As a Housekeeping Porter you will have a key position in providing an effective and courteous service at all times in all aspects of the housekeeping department. You will help to manage the requirements of Room Attendants, Public Areas and Guests, ensuring our guests receive a high quality service.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide an effective and courteous service at all times in all aspects of the department.
  • Assist in handling all guest and supervisors requests and hotel linen in accordance with departmental standards to minimise stock costs while maintaining Hotel and Company standards.
  • Ensure that clean linen & towels are delivered to designated pantries and there is adequate stock kept on the floors.
  • Assist the room attendants with removing linen from bedrooms.
  • Liaise with room attendants and supervisor in ensuring all health and safety and COVID protocols are being followed
