Job Summary

Key Facilities Group Ltd is looking for a reliable, hardworking and trustworthy Caretaker / Cleaner to join our growing team.

This is a varied, hands-on role working across a number of school sites throughout Essex. No two days are the same, and you’ll play an important part in helping schools remain clean, safe and well maintained.

Duties

* Cleaning school buildings to a high standard.

* Carrying out routine site inspections.

* Testing fire alarms and emergency lighting.

* Completing playground and health & safety checks.

* Identifying and reporting maintenance issues.

* Opening and securing school sites when required.

* Residential and commercial cleaning as required.

* Assisting with general caretaking duties.

Experience carrying out basic maintenance, painting and small repairs would be an advantage, but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Requirements

Must pass ENHANCE DBS CHECK

* Reliable, honest and trustworthy.

* Able to work independently and use your own initiative.

* Friendly and professional when working on client sites.

* Full UK driving licence essential.

* Flexible approach to working hours, as start and finish times may vary depending on the needs of our clients. Some early mornings, evenings or occasional weekend work may be required.
