Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Cleaning Operative to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities. In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering efficient commercial cleaning services, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help uphold the professional image of our organization, contributing to a healthy and productive workspace.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, corridors, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed
  • Dispose of waste responsibly, ensuring recycling protocols are followed
  • Restock consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels to ensure availability at all times
  • Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to management promptly
  • Use janitorial experience to adapt cleaning routines based on specific site requirements or special events

Experience

  • Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is essential
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained
  • Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
