Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Cleaning Operative to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at a client commercial premises. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that cleanliness standards are consistently met, creating a positive experience for staff and visitors alike. Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, corridors, and communal spaces
  • Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently to achieve high standards of hygiene
  • Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures through sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
  • Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times
  • Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities
  • Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
  • Support in special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within scheduled shifts
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely and responsibly
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours that may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends
