As a leader in the commercial vehicle export industry, we are looking for a washer to join our team in Stoke-on-Trent. We need someone with proven experience in a similar role who is always looking to improve and maximise efficiency. In return, we will provide you with extensive training and support to allow you to grow with the business and have a lengthy career in the world of exports and logistics.

Job Description

We are looking for a washer to work in a team within a busy and demanding workplace. You will be a patient and positive individual, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Your duties will include:

· Cleaning and valeting the interior and exterior of HGV vehicles to a high standard

· Using a power washer to clean – experience desirable but not essential

· Working outside in the elements all year round – waterproof coat will be provided

· Ensuring that vehicles have been processed successfully before being photographed

· Monitoring the standard of your own work and ensuring everything is completed to a high standard

· Ensuring the cleanliness of the wash bay and surrounding areas and that all health and safety procedures are adhered to.

Person Specification

We want an individual who thrives under pressure and who can motivate themselves and their team. You will have experience working in a challenging environment and will be willing to adapt quickly to meet the needs of the business. You will have:

· Prior experience in a similar position

· An ability to work towards deadlines

· Excellent attention to detail

· Good communications skills

Working hours Monday to Friday 8.00am to 17.30pm
