Overview

We are seeking a reliable Part-time Cleaner to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean and hygienic environments. The position is suitable for those with previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work, and it provides flexible hours to fit around other commitments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that designated areas are kept spotless and well-maintained, contributing to a safe and welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike.

Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks in a healthcare setting, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed

Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly

  • Follow health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
  • Adhere to company policies regarding cleaning procedures and equipment use

Skills

  • Previous experience in healthcare cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently
  • Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively

Working times/days

The working days will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 2 hours per day. Earliest start time from 6.00 am. However, duties must be carried out by 9.00 am due to patient appointments.
