Full-Time Housekeeper (Live-out) - Central London

We are seeking a dedicated, full-time, live-out housekeeper to join our warm and welcoming family in London. We have two young children, and we're looking for someone who can help us maintain a clean and organised home while also being an extra set of hands when needed. We also employ a full-time nanny.

Key Responsibilities:

• Laundry: Daily washing, ironing, and folding. Minor repairs and alterations to clothing. Polishing shoes and confidently handling delicate fabrics like silk and cashmere. Coordinating with dry cleaners for delicate items or larger repairs.
• Cleaning: Regular tidying, hoovering, dishwashing, and bed-making. A deep clean of the house on a regular basis. Care and maintenance of household appliances.
• Organising: Keeping our belongings neatly organised and labelled for easy access, ensuring our home is always in top shape. Supporting the packing and unpacking of suitcases.
• Shopping: Ensuring the home is fully stocked with fresh, healthy food and household supplies.
• Cooking: Preparing healthy, simple family meals (typically either lunch or dinner). Collaborating with us and our nanny on weekly meal planning.
• Managing Contractors: Overseeing and coordinating with any contractors or service providers.
• General Assistance: We value individuals who are proactive and find ways to be helpful beyond the job description, such as assisting with events when we are hosting guests.

Additional Opportunities:

• Babysitting & Weekend Work: We can offer additional hours as a babysitter and for weekend work, if this is of interest to you.
• Travel: Opportunity to travel with us 2-3 times per year for one week each trip, though this is not a requirement.

Requirements:

• Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Recent experience in a similar role, ideally with long-term employment with one family.
• Minimum of three years of work experience in a similar role.
• Confidence in handling delicate fabrics and materials.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to your role.
• Ability to reliably commute or relocate to London before starting work (required).

Work Schedule:
