Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Housekeeper / Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of a large country house. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail and includes some food preparation

Responsibilities

  • Clean and tidy all designated areas within the house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces
  • Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitised to high standards
  • Change bed linens and organise laundry as required
  • Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, and fittings
  • Shop for groceries as directed
  • Food preparation and some cooking
  • Assisting with special occasions/lunches if needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is highly desirable
  • Cleaning experience is preferred
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently within a flexible schedule - occasional extra hours will be required.
  • A professional attitude with excellent time management skills
  • Reliable, discrete and trustworthy with a strong work ethic
