Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and work areas to prevent cross-contamination.
• Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain butchering equipment, tools, chills, and machinery according to safety standards.
• Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste, including meat scraps and packaging, following local regulations.
• Restroom Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in staff canteen and changing areas.
• Stock and Supply Management: Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are well-stocked and in good condition.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring the factory meets local regulations and standards.
• Assisting Staff: Collaborate with butchers and staff to support daily operations and maintain an efficient work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience, but not essential as training will be given..
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in food handling and cleaning.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, and moving equipment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £10.90-£12.21 per hour
