TCMS (Midlands) Ltd have been supplying a bespoke professional cleaning service for over 30 years. We hold contracts all over the UK and work in partnership with other facilities management companies to provide a professional service to our customers.

Company Base Location: Hockley, Birmingham, B19 3NR

Company Office Hours: 8:30am-16:30pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am-15:30pm Fridays

Site Location: Based at our office in Hockley when required but the job mainly involves visiting client sites and managing the cleaning staff to ensure we provide a professional service at all times.

Site Working Days and Hours: Monday-Friday Daytime and Evenings dependent on sites and customers requirements

We are looking for a motivated, proactive and people focused Daily Office Cleaning Manager to join our established and growing business. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of commercial contracts while playing a key role in maintaining the high standards and reputation our clients have come to expect.

Working across the West Midlands and occasionally beyond, you will enjoy a varied role that combines operational management, client care, team leadership and quality assurance. No two days are the same and you will have the autonomy to make a real difference to both out clients and your team

Working Experience

  • Previous experience managing commercial cleaning contracts.
  • Experience leading and motivating teams across multiple sites.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
  • The ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings when required.
  • Ability to accurately manage staff records and payroll information.

An Enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. Employment will be subject to the successful completion of this check.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for the successful day to day management of multiple commercial cleaning contracts, ensuring every client receives an outstanding level of service.

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial contracts across multiple sites.
  • Leading, motivating and supporting a team of cleaning operatives to achieve consistently high standards.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and site inspections to maintain excellent service delivery.
  • Building positive, long-term relationships with clients and responding promptly to enquiries and requests.
  • Prepare staff rotas, arranging holiday and sickness cover and manage staffing levels.
  • Accurately record and submit monthly staff hours to the Payroll.
  • Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, COSHH regulations, company policies and client specific procedures.
  • Manage cleaning stock, equipment and consumables across multiple sites.
  • Resolve operational challenges quickly and professionally while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

As many of our clients operate during standard business hours, some evening visits will be required to conduct site inspections, support your team and meet client needs.
