Job Overview

Willow Tree Dental is an award-winning multidisciplinary private dental practice in the heart of Swiss Cottage.
We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Receptionist/ GDC registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the reception area. This position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive team environment, contributing to patient care and practice efficiency. GDC registered Nurse is preffered but not essential. Must have experience of working in a dental practice.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reminders efficiently using practice management software (SOE)
  • Handle patient enquiries via phone, email, and in person with courtesy and professionalism
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
  • Process payments and insurance claims accurately and promptly
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times
  • Support the dental team with administrative duties as required

Skills

  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent
  • Friendly, approachable manner with a professional appearance
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
