Full job description

Reception & Marketing Lead — Full or Part-Time

North Leeds (LS17) | 25–35 hrs/week across 4-5 days

Competitive salary (enhanced if previous knowledge and experience) - starting at £14.99/hour

Are you someone who lights up a room the moment you walk in? Who remembers a client's name, makes them feel genuinely at ease, and leaves them thinking "that was a brilliant experience"? If so, we want to hear from you.

We're looking for a warm, sharp, and commercially minded Dental Reception & Marketing Lead to be the heartbeat of our front-of-house team — and the creative force behind how we present ourselves to the world.

This isn't your average receptionist role. It's a varied, fast-moving position that combines a premium client-facing presence with real ownership of our marketing activity. If you thrive on variety, love connecting with people, and get a quiet thrill from a perfectly organised diary, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering an exceptional client experience You'll be the first face our clients see and the first voice they hear. From warm welcomes at the door to handling enquiries over the phone and email, you'll set the tone for everything we do. We take pride in making every interaction feel personal and unhurried — and you'll be the person who makes that happen.

Keeping things running like clockwork You'll manage a busy appointment book, maximise the schedule, keep records accurate, and make sure the team has everything they need to deliver their best work. You'll be the calm centre of a fast-paced environment.

Owning our marketing This is where the role gets really exciting. You'll lead both our internal and external marketing — from social media and digital channels to print, local community outreach, and referral relationships. You'll track what's working, analyse the data, and bring fresh ideas to keep us growing. There's genuine scope to make this part of the role your own.

Tracking growth You'll log new client enquiries, monitor leads, and help us understand where our growth is coming from — playing a direct part in the commercial success of the business.

What We're Looking For

The most important thing is how you make people feel. We'll train the right person on the specifics — what we can't teach is warmth, professionalism, and a genuine passion for outstanding service.

Beyond that, you'll ideally bring:

  • Experience in a customer-facing role where high standards and attention to detail were non-negotiable — hospitality, luxury retail, premium healthcare, or similar
  • Excellent communication skills: a natural, confident telephone manner and a polished face-to-face presence
  • Strong organisational ability and an eye for detail — you don't let things slip through the cracks
  • Enthusiasm for marketing and social media, with some hands-on experience of running accounts or campaigns
  • Comfort with technology and digital tools — picking up new systems quickly comes naturally to you
  • A proactive attitude: you spot what needs doing before you're asked

Experience working in a dental or medical setting is a bonus, but it's not essential. We're more interested in your customer service instincts and your drive than your industry background.

What You'll Get

  • A genuinely supportive, positive team who want to see you succeed
  • A beautiful, modern workplace in North Leeds — one we're proud of
  • 25–35 hours across 4-5 days (rota to be agreed)
  • Competitive salary dependent on experience
  • Uniform provided
  • Free on-site & on street parking and easy access to public transport
  • Fuel allowance when travelling for marketing activities
  • Professional development and real scope for career growth
  • All necessary professional registrations and checks covered by us
  • Regular team events and socials
