About Healthy You

Healthy You is a growing specialist provider of psychological assessment, treatment, clinical supervision, training and consultancy services within serious injury, complex rehabilitation and medico-legal settings.

We work closely with case managers, solicitors and multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams to support individuals following serious injury, trauma and life-changing events.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HCPC-registered psychologist to join Healthy You as Head of Clinical Services.

This is a senior, client-facing role with a particular focus on providing clinical supervision, specialist training and complex case consultation to our established case management clients and professional partners.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience within the medico-legal and serious injury rehabilitation sector, with a strong understanding of litigation-funded rehabilitation and the multidisciplinary team (MDT) environment.

Alongside supporting our case management clients, you will provide clinical leadership across Healthy You, contribute to clinical governance and service development, and maintain an active psychological assessment and treatment caseload.

This is an opportunity to combine hands-on clinical practice with professional leadership, training and the development of a growing specialist service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual and group clinical supervision, reflective practice and psychological consultation to case managers and rehabilitation professionals.
  • Design and deliver specialist training and workshops for case management organisations and professional partners.
  • Provide psychological input into complex rehabilitation cases, supporting MDTs with clinical challenges, risk, client engagement, family dynamics and professional boundaries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key case management clients, solicitors and rehabilitation professionals.
  • Provide clinical leadership and support to Healthy You's associate network, including referral triage, clinical governance and quality assurance.
  • Maintain an active caseload of psychological assessments and treatment.
  • Work with the leadership team to develop new services, training programmes and professional partnerships.

About You

We are looking for an experienced psychologist with:

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling or Health Psychologist.
  • A minimum of 10 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Substantial experience in medico-legal work, particularly serious injury, personal injury and/or clinical negligence rehabilitation.
  • A strong understanding of multidisciplinary rehabilitation and the roles of case managers, treating clinicians, solicitors and expert witnesses.
  • Experience delivering clinical supervision, psychological consultation and professional training.
  • Strong psychological assessment, formulation and treatment skills.
  • Experience managing complex clinical presentations, risk and professional challenges.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship-building skills.
  • The confidence to provide senior clinical leadership and work with established professional clients.

Experience supervising case managers, developing training programmes or working in a senior role within an independent rehabilitation or medico-legal organisation would be particularly advantageous.

Location and Working Arrangements

The role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, combining time at our office in Armitage Bridge, Huddersfield, with home working. Some travel to client locations will also be required to deliver supervision, training, attend meetings and provide clinical support. Working arrangements will be agreed to balance the needs of the role, our clients and the successful candidate.
