We specialise in handling Personal injury, Medical Negligence, Employer/ Public Liability, Industrial disease, and Rehabilitation, alongside other work/accident-related claims. The Role

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Medico Legal Case Handler to manage the medical aspect of the claims from initial notification through to settlement. You will be responsible for handling instructions, liaising with clients, solicitors and medical providers, and ensuring cases are handled accurately, fairly, and in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of medical cases from start to finish
  • Reviewing medical documentation and policy coverage
  • Assessing liability, causation, and quantum where appropriate
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, solicitors, and medical professionals
  • Requesting and reviewing medical reports and supporting evidence
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records
  • Ensuring compliance with internal processes and relevant regulations
  • Delivering a professional, empathetic service at all times

About You

  • Minimum of 1 year previous experience in an administrative role (medical, healthcare, insurance, legal or related fields preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficient in case management systems
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset

Desirable (but not essential)

  • Experience with medical or personal injury claims
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Proficient in Proclaim case management software
