AuDHD Psychiatry is a values-led, neurodivergent-run clinic providing high-quality ADHD and autism assessments, coaching, and ongoing support for children and adults. We combine evidence-based practice with lived experience to deliver structured, compassionate, and clinically rigorous care.
As our service continues to grow, we are looking to recruit experienced HCPC-registered psychologists to join our expanding neurodevelopmental assessment team. We have both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
This is a fully remote role, offering the opportunity to work within an established multidisciplinary team alongside psychiatrists, prescribers, and other clinicians, supported by structured clinical pathways and strong governance.
About the Role
You will deliver high-quality ADHD and autism diagnostic assessments for children and adults via secure video consultation. Using recognised assessment tools and structured clinical interviews, you will formulate diagnostic opinions, prepare comprehensive reports, and contribute to delivering evidence-based, person-centred care.
This role is best suited to clinicians with substantial experience conducting private neurodevelopmental assessments who are confident in diagnostic decision-making and report writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive ADHD and autism assessments via video consultation
- Complete structured clinical interviews using recognised assessment tools (e.g. DIVA, ADOS-2, developmental history interviews)
- Review pre-assessment questionnaires, developmental histories, and relevant clinical information
- Produce clear, evidence-based diagnostic reports in line with NICE guidance
- Deliver feedback appointments following assessment
- Identify and consider co-occurring conditions where clinically appropriate
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, prescribers, and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with HCPC standards, GDPR, and clinical best practice
- Participate in clinical governance and quality assurance processes
Qualifications & ExperienceEssential

- Minimum of 2 years' experience delivering ADHD and autism assessments within a private clinical setting
- Experience conducting diagnostic assessments for children and adults
- Confident using structured diagnostic assessment tools

- Excellent knowledge of DSM-5, ICD-11, and NICE guidance
- Comfortable working independently within a remote environment
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills
Desirable
- Experience using the DIVA assessment tool
- ADOS-2 training and experience
- Experience with combined ADHD and autism assessments
- Previous experience working within a multidisciplinary team
- Interest in service development, peer consultation, or clinical leadership
What We Offer

- Full-time and part-time opportunities
- Fully remote working
- Administrative support and established clinical systems
