Duties

As a Field Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting healthcare professionals through product training, clinical education, demonstrations, and ongoing technical guidance across a portfolio of diagnostic imaging and healthcare solutions.

Working closely with clinical customers and internal commercial teams, you will help ensure successful product adoption, build long-term customer partnerships, and provide expert support throughout the customer journey.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals, acting as a trusted clinical and technical specialist across the territory.
  • Deliver product training, workshops, demonstrations, and clinical education sessions to support the safe and effective use of imaging and healthcare technologies.
  • Provide clinical support throughout product implementations, launches, evaluations, and post-installation activities, ensuring customers gain maximum value from their systems.
  • Partner closely with commercial colleagues by supporting customer meetings, presentations, and discussions with clinical expertise and practical insight.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback, market intelligence, and user experiences to support ongoing product and service improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of training, demonstrations, customer interactions, and support activities while ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.

Person Specification

  • Clinical experience within the medical device industry is essential.
  • Clinical experience within Endoscopy is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clinicians, nurses, technicians, and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Comfortable delivering training, demonstrations, and clinical education within healthcare environments.
  • Able to combine technical credibility with a customer-focused approach.

  • £12,000 OTE commission paid quarterly
