Overview:
We are a leading manufacturer of specialist vehicle windows, supplying bonded glass and frame units to ambulance and police vehicle builders across the UK. We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused team member to join our production team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll learn specialist glazing skills, with full training provided and clear progression as your skills develop.
Salary & Benefits:
- Starting pay: £12.50 per hour.
- 6-month training period, followed by a pay review based on the skills you’ve gained.

What you’ll be doing:
- Assembling glass into aluminium or composite frames using bonding and sealing techniques.
- Preparing and cleaning glass for adhesive application.
- Using tools and jigs to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Carrying out quality checks to meet strict safety standards.
- Packaging units ready for dispatch to our specialist vehicle customers.
- (Occasional but Essential) Driving our van to deliver products to clients.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone practical and hands-on with good attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with glass, adhesives, and workshop tools.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow clear processes.
- A good team player, but also confident working independently at your own bench.
- Previous glazing or assembly experience is a bonus, but full training is provided.

- People with experience in manufacturing or factory work who want to learn a more specialist trade.
- Automotive bodyshop or workshop staff who are used to handling tools, fitting parts, or doing detailed prep work.

- Furniture, joinery, or assembly operatives familiar with adhesives, cutting, and precision work.
- Warehouse or logistics staff who’ve done packing, kitting, or assembly tasks and want to upskill.
- Signage or plastics fabricators used to bonding, sealing, and preparing materials.
- Anyone early in their career, or from retail/hospitality, who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants regular hours with training and career growth.
- People with hobbies that including making things will likely enjoy this type of work as well.
Additional Requirements (Van Driving):
- Must be 25 or older (insurance requirement).
- Must hold a clean, valid UK driving licence.
