Kidz Zone Club have an opportunity for a Club Lead to join our team working at Houghton Conquest Lower School in Bedfordshire. You will benefit from an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience delivering a wide range of 'active' childcare activities; working with children from ages 4 - 9.

As part of the role, TFG/KZ will provide training and mentoring to develop you within this role.

You will benefit from an extremely varied role – undertaking the following roles and responsibilities.

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Full training is provided.
  • Following club structure
  • Delivering ‘active’ before school clubs Monday to Friday 7.30am - 9.00am
  • Delivering ‘active’ after school clubs Monday to Friday 3.00pm - 6.00pm
  • Delivery of creative activities and free play.
  • Preparing snacks and drinks.
  • General administration responsibilities.
  • Adhere to employers and placement organisations Health and Safety, Child Protection and Equalities policies.
  • Complete various training courses.
  • Adhere to their placement organisations policies.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Passionate about working with children.
  • Passionate about children having fun in a safe, active environment.
  • Kind, caring and patient.
  • Good communication skills and ability to relate to other people.
  • Ability to engage young people positively.
  • To be able to adapt to different challenges in a positive way.
  • Reasonable level of personal fitness.
