Salaried GP (6–8 Sessions)

We are looking to recruit a Salaried GP (6–8 sessions) to join our team of 19 GPs to care for our 31,500 patients in the centre of Hove.

Our GP leadership is complemented by an exceptional Managing Partner and experienced management team who provide the operational expertise needed to run a modern, high-performing practice. Together, this partnership between clinical and operational leadership allows us to innovate, grow and deliver excellent care for our patients.

You will be joining a welcoming team of 19 GPs, including 11 GP Partners and an established group of Salaried GPs. Our partnership is stable, ambitious and committed for the long term. Four of our current Partners first joined Charter as GP trainees before becoming Salaried GPs and subsequently Partners, reflecting our commitment to developing and retaining doctors.

We strongly believe in GP-led general practice. Our multidisciplinary team is designed to support and enhance GP care, enabling GPs to focus on providing expert medical care while working alongside our brilliant clinical colleagues.

We are supported by an experienced and highly valued reception, administrative and management team, and continually review our systems and workflows to reduce unnecessary administrative burden and help clinicians work efficiently and safely.

Teaching, training and professional development are central to our culture.

We are working towards the BMA model contract. GPs undertake 26 patient contacts per day, with protected time for occasional home visits, and we operate a list system because we believe strongly in continuity of care and long-term therapeutic relationships.
