Full job description

An opportunity of Assistant Manager has arisen at our Farm Shop in Newton, Cambridgeshire. Hours are listed below.

We are an extremely fast paced, busy bakery Farm Shop shop and each member of the team is crucial to ensure our service runs smoothly. Working with us is a great opportunity to work in a great environment with a lovely team, to meet new people each day and be part of the local community.

We stock Bread and Cakes, Breakfast and Lunch options, Fresh Fruit and Veg, Meal solutions and Alcohol. We also have a butchers counter selling locally sourced meat.

Key responsibilities:

Supporting the Manager in the running and covering of the shop

Serving customers

Offering high levels of customer service

Preparing food

Passion for fine foods

Making great Barista coffee

Ensure the highest level of hygiene are adhere to and the shop is kept clean throughout the day

We will offer:

Hours will be on a two week rota and in the region of 30-36 hours per week

This role does include weekend work. This is normally every other weekend with an occasional extra needed for cover of annual leave

You would be required to cover your manager during their annual leave taking your hours above 40

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.21-£13.71 per hour
